The La Orotava Tenerife is a beautiful town located on the North-West coast of the island. Many noble and wealthy families live in this town. These people settled in this part of the Tenerife after the Spanish invasion. This royal town has beautiful plazas and cobblestone streets. It has several big mansions lined up on the coastline, which you cannot find anywhere on this Island. The La Orotava and the La Laguna Tenerife are both the gorgeous towns. Is worth visiting them during your Tenerife holidays for an unforgettable experience.
The town surrounded by beautiful and lush valleys, and it has been considered as the wealthiest regions since the 16th century. The Mansion and beautiful churches were built in the 17th century. Some were built in the 16th century. The valley is famous for producing chestnuts, bananas, and grape. This valley is also very popular for hiking, where you can see the maze of trail lead you into Canarian Pine woods. On the top of the mountain, you can view 1200m down over the coastal plain. The tourist department is very friendly. They gave me good advice on routes.
The slopes of the Valley are very fertile where the farmers cultivate various products including vines.
The horizon of the La Orotava is described as the twin towers and dome of Iglesia de la Concepcion that extended the town by the Muscovite look. When I took a photograph during the day time with the terracotta tiles of the town in the forefront, the domes looked beautiful with the sunlight and the sky changes to the mulberry. It allowed me to capture the perfect picturesque scenery of the town. You can also try taking photographs during dusk.

La Orotava Tenerife Main Attraction: Casa de Los Balcones
The Casa de Los Balcones is my favorite where you can find the beautiful and complicated eponymous balconies. Inside, you can find the magnificent courtyards that offer beautiful views of valleys. The Casa Mendez Fonseca has a breathtaking inner courtyard. You will find a marvelous and original museum located upstairs. In this place, you can also taste local wines. It is a really amazing experience that I enjoyed a lot.
The La Orotava Tenerife has a plenty of monasteries and churches all over the town. The Iglesia de la Concepcion is the best and mysterious masterpiece. The Victoria Gardens is where you can find the unique and beautiful flowers. Some of them I have never seen before in my life. The beautiful botanical garden and the lush tropical scenery take you to a different world.
If you have enough time then don’t miss to visit the Feast of Corpus Christi. These streets are beautifully covered with flowers carpets. The town hall offers the setting for awe-inspiring drapery of colored sand, soil, and flowers. This place has entered the Guinness Book of Records recently. So don’t miss it, make some time to visit this marvelous place. Make sure that La Orotava Tenerife is on your list as it is worth visiting.
